On and On

from Reuben Walton Hosted by Reuben Walton

"On and On" is a song I worked on in May 2015 with AVLI Music at his recording studio in Reseda, CA. We met at the 2015 ASCAP I Create Music EXPO at the Loew's Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. I'm happy with how it turned out. :) Lyrics: Verse 1: I want you But I pushed you away years ago I need you I need to know that I could die tomorrow And go unresented into eternity For the things that I've done Back in the day Being annoying Hanging on every word you said What can I say? I was a kid and you were mostly too It's all in the past, and can't be changed, But the bitterness seems to linger Chorus: On and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on On and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on Verse 2: So what can I do to get through to you and change your mind? I'd walk on eggshells for the rest of my life if that meant that it would be alright So consider this a promise I'll never hurt you like I did back then I just wanna be honest It hurts when you're mad all the time and it goes Chorus: On and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on, and it goes On and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on Bridge: We're gonna make it up that hill eventually It just takes time Sometimes I feel like my heart's gonna explode And then it's fine Maybe you get what you see maybe it's not even that deep Can we forget what we've seen here And try to move ahead, this animosity is killing me Chorus: On and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on On and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on On and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on On and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on Vocals by Reuben Walton Vocal production by AVLI Music Lyrics by Reuben Walton Composed by Reuben Walton and AVLI Music Piano by AVLI Music Programming by AVLI Music Produced by AVLI Music Recorded by AVLI Music Mixed by AVLI Music Edited by AVLI Music and Reuben Walton Mastered by Erick Labson at United Recording Studios in Los Angeles, CA Single artwork by Devin Johnson This is my self-titled EP containing seven tracks I worked on with AVLI Music, a music producer based in Reseda, CA, who I met in 2015 at the ASCAP I Create Music EXPO at the Loew's Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.
