Faith as an End in Itself, Not a Tool: Many people today treat faith as a way to get blessings. True faith is about trusting God for who He is, not for what He can give us. 2. True Unity is Centered on Christ, Not Human Leaders or Personalities:The Corinthian church was divided into factions, with some saying, "I follow Paul," others "I follow Apollos," and others "I follow Cephas (Peter)." Many churches today fall into the same trap, where believers are more loyal to pastors, denominations, or movements than to Christ. True unity is not about following a leader—it is about following Jesus. Brother Sam warned against the false idea that unity means accepting every belief for the sake of peace. Many people today compromise biblical truth to avoid offending others. However, true unity is built on sound doctrine—believers must be united in the gospel, not in false teachings. Apostle Paul taught that we must stand firm on biblical truth, even if it causes division with those who reject it. 3. On BaptismBrother Sam emphsized that baptism is an act of obedience and identification with Christ. Baptism symbolizes a believer’s union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. It is a public testimony that the believer is now dead to sin and alive in Christ. The act of immersion in water illustrates being buried with Christ and raised to new life and we're called to remember it always an ordinary means of grace the Lord gave to us.
