Moses saw an awesome sight when he encountered God in the burning bush in Exodus 3. Moses was not called to be a spectator though! Just as the burning bush burned unharmed with the in-dwelling Holy Spirit, Moses was called to confront Pharaoh and lead out the Israelites through the Spirit’s power. For us, we are called to be on fire for God just as Paul instructed Timothy to “fan into flame the gift of God” as we spread the gospel message of Jesus, who “abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. www.hillsideeastman.com
