On Forgiveness

Sant Ji: Q/A session Q: How can I forgive someone who has hurt me? A: in the Path of the Masters, forgiveness is very important - when we have forgiven someone we have to forget about it - if we keep remembering how we have forgiven someone, it is possible that the ego may bother us - when we have to forgive someone we have to keep the form of the Master in front of us - it is the Master within us who has to forgive - the jivas are not worth anything and do not have the power to forgive - we should pray that we should be forgiven like that other person is forgiven by You - if anyone realizes he has done a mistake, he should confess that mistake and apologize and the person who has been hurt should accept that apology in the name of the Master - soul is innocent and never makes mistakes because she is same essence of God - when we are connected to God we do not find any fault in Him - mind is the one who makes mistakes - mind does not have the power to ask for or give forgiveness because it has not been given that power - only soul (Master) has the power to ask for and give forgiveness - only the true Christian can forgive - when Christ was crucified, He said "Forgive them for they know not what they do" - Masters forgive even the worst sinners - once we have forgiven someone in the name of the Master we should not even let them we know we have forgiven them - conflict in married life is only because the element of forgiveness is not there - we are brought to the Master only because of His grace and forgiveness - He forgives our past faults and tells us not to make those same mistakes - in His humility, He never tells us that He has done us this favor - He always says it is His Master who has forgiven us - children makes mistakes all day long, but the mother forgives them over and over - in the same way, Master does not remember all our faults and always forgives us Q: could You make this Easter candy parshad? A: sure Q: Could I sing the song to the Master that I used to sing to Jesus as a child? A: I appreciate those lines - only a dr. in present time can cure us - only someone living now can become a husband/wife - only a living teacher can teach us - only a living Master can liberate us - words in the Bible are not the exact words of Christ - all past Masters gave out the same message - meditation of shabd naam can take us to all the past Masters - it is said that Christ never went to America and did not have many followers - when we come to the path, to the perfect living Master, we should give all our devotion to Him - when wise men and women get married they become attached and never want to seperate - when we come to the Master we should never leave - writings and hymns or past Masters should be read/sung and understood - we should have respect for all the past Masters
