Words cannot quite express the phenomenon when this force pushes me to do or say things that I’d never imagined, yet here I am, making a spectacle of it. But in my heart I know just what it is – it’s God. My younger self always refused to acknowledge this force, further denying what lie deep inside. Younger me refused to believe in something I couldn’t see with my own two eyes, feel with my own two hands, or hear with my own two ears. I cannot change what my younger self believed; sometimes I just wish I could hug my younger self and tell her, “trust yourself, you’ll make it out, your heart will fly, believe!” But then I remember that I cannot look back, I must keep going, believe, and let the light guide my way – even when the darkness tries to interfere.
