On Healing with Jen Crawford

Jen Crawford joins me this week on the podcast and she is someone that I have admired for years. Jen is a beautiful person and a beautiful speaker. She founded DoulaCare Ireland along with a lady called Mary Tighe which was the first of its kind in Ireland - a Birth and Post Partum Doula Agency. It has changed direction recently and has now become Doula Care Academy and they offer a wide range of courses to increase your knowledge and develop essential skills to help support you during your pregnancy, birth, and parenting journey. Jen is an Industry Leader in her field and has helped countless women and men become parents for the first time.Jen has helped so many families with premature and sick babies as they walk a different path than expected in Temple Street and Crumlin. She has also experienced what it is like when things don’t go as planned when her beautiful daughter Kayla was born with a cleft palate. She gave everything she had to help Kayla as she had multiple surgeries and stays in hospital. Jens own health then started to decline after years in survival mode and she eventually was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Jen is unbelievably inspiring, and I feel so blessed to know her. Her honesty and authenticity online helped me when I became a mother for the first time.
