This experience propelled her into the forefront of the sanctuary movement in Tucson, AZ. Residing in Tucson, AZ, with her husband and five children, Dora is also a proud grandmother. She serves as the Director of Salvavision, a nonprofit offering aid and support to migrants and deportees. Today, Dora describes the work she does with Humane Borders, Tucson Samatitans, and Salvavision to support those who immigrate to the United States by crossing the southern border. Dora shares her own experience immigrating to the United States from El Salvador and why it motivates her to serve others who are immigrating.
