From the noon Mass on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens, the Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year C. We were supposed to have a guest preacher this week, but he couldn't make it. So, I read the homily he had prepared. The homily is on indulgences and was meant to promote our parish pilgrimage coming upon Sunday, November 2, 2025. We are having a 3pm Mass at the Shrine of Jesus the Divine Mercy, 33826 Beaconsfield St., Clinton Township, MI 48035. This Mass will indeed count toward your Sunday obligation and will qualify as an "indulgenced act." Hope to see you there!
