Our exciting plans are built on what we achieved so far this year: We started a new global movement, Protect Nature Now, designed to safeguard the microbiome from genetically modified microbes and to stop "gain-of-function" enhancements of potentially pandemic pathogens. We released my fifth film, Don't Let The Gene Out of the Bottle, which, along with its trailer, has over a million views. Our combined social reach is at 16 million, we sent 132 million emails, and now more than 50 organizations around the world have come on board as allies. So far this year, I've been interviewed for 10 online summits and more than a dozen major podcasts. I hosted 32 Facebook Lives, 33 podcasts, and 2 webinars. I also wrote articles that were picked up by more than 300 news outlets and co-authored two white papers and a Legislative Report. As a teaser to what I'm going to tell you in this video, our supporters used our new Advocacy Platform to send more than 16,000 emails to elected officials and nearly 6,000 to media outlets, worldwide.
