On Our Way Rejoicing

An Ethiopian official reads Isaiah on the road home but cannot understand whom the suffering servant describes. God is already at work in his search. He sends Philip to stay beside the traveller and explain from Scripture that Jesus suffered and died for His people’s sins. The official trusts Christ, receives baptism and continues home rejoicing.
