On Prayer - Intercession Pt 2
from Narrative Church Hosted by Narrative Church
In this message, we return to our prayer series, delving into the intricate relationship between the natural world and God's divine presence through prayer. We revisit the basics of how to start praying and explore various physical and mental postures. Pastor Jason highlights the significance of praying with an unhurried mindset and building a foundation for prayer by understanding our identity in relation to a loving God. As we progress, we examine the role of confession and its transformative power. The focus then shifts to intercession, defined as a meeting between God's glory and human suffering without personal agendas. The message emphasizes empathy over sympathy and the transformative power of intercessory prayer, making us more like Jesus, who is our eternal intercessor. We conclude with a call to practice intercession selflessly for all people, fostering a deeper connection with both Jesus and humanity.
