On Prayer - Labor & Birth
from Narrative Church Hosted by Narrative Church
In this message, we explore the concept of prayer as a deep, ongoing conversation with God. Highlighting various foundational prayers like the Prayer of Ignatius, the Lord's Prayer, and the Psalms, we delve into how prayers can be 'accessorized' for specific needs, such as confession, intercession, and petition. Through the story of Elijah challenging the prophets of Baal and his laborious prayer for rain, we learn about the importance of persistent, faithful, and often unnoticed prayers in bringing life and sustaining faith. Join us as we unpack themes of divine communication, spiritual labor, and multidimensional faithfulness.
