On Stage - Statement of Fact

Cathy Lewis begins by thanking the listeners for the cards and best wishes they have received for their wedding anniversary!  John Bradford rings District Attorney Dale Christian to tell him that Helen Randal Dudley has been found and arrested. Apparently Mrs Dudley’s husband Roger Aimes Dudley has been found dead and a coroners report shows it as a result of wounds inflicted by Mrs Dudley with a hatchet. Further evidence points towards Mrs Dudley being guilty and Mr Christian needs to determine what plea can be made on her behalf. Mrs Dudley asks him what will happen supposing she doesn’t admit anything. Story written by: E.
