Season #2, Episode #3: Sean Precious, Executive Director, Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Networks: Charter, Contract, and Options Schools In today's episode, Todd sat down with Sean Precious, the executive director of Chicago Public Schools' Networks: Charter, Contract, and Options Schools. Sean leads the innovation network with the Chicago Public Schools - a portfolio of 133 charter, contract and alternative HS (called Options Schools) across the city of Chicago. In this role, he serves nearly 60,000 students and their families. Previously, Sean was a regional superintendent with the Denver Public Schools and a principal in Washington DC. He started his career as a classroom teacher in Los Angeles, CA - and believes deeply that when students are given great opportunities, they will excel on an absolute scale. A lifelong learner, Sean is a graduate of University of Illinois and holds two masters degrees in Education Administration. He is also a proud graduate of the Relay Graduate School of Education's Leverage Leadership Institute, AASA Urban Superintendent Academy and the School System Leader Fellowship with the Cambiar Foundation.
