On the Edge of a Crash Out? What the Bible Says About Anxiety, Overwhelm, and Emotional Health
from Trust God Be Confident | Biblical Encouragement, Bible Study, Insecurity, Trust In God, Spiritual Growth · host Sarah Coppiano
This episode is for the woman who feels she is one inconvenience away from spiraling. A few months ago I had a real crash out of my own. It started with car trouble but the truth is, the pressure had been building since my son was born in January 2024. We walked through postpartum anxiety, developmental delays, a hospital stay for failure to thrive, feeding struggles, seizures, and financial strain. By the time another unexpected repair bill hit, I broke. My faith wobbled. My hope felt thin. Then recently, the week before Thanksgiving, I got the call that my mom passed away after a long battle with addiction. While sitting in that grief, our family van broke down with all my kids inside. It should have been another crash out moment. But instead, I heard this: Do not be dismayed. That took me straight to Isaiah 41.10. the verse God uses to pull you back from fear, overwhelm, and that shattered feeling you can’t put language to. In this episode we talk about: • What “dismayed” really means and why it hits so deep • How God starts with presence before promise • Learning to receive His strength instead of trying to muster your own • Elijah’s crash out in 1 Kings 19 and why his burnout mirrors ours • How God upholds you when life feels impossible If you’re carrying fear, anxiety, grief, or spiritual exhaustion, this episode will remind you that God has not left you. You are held. And you are strengthened. ✨ Join my newsletter for spiritual growth and weekly encouragement: bit.ly/tgbcinsider Contact → https://bit.ly/TrustGodBeConfident Connect → Join our free Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/share/g/17npCJcUYY/ Instagram → @sarahcoppiano Resources → www.sarahcoppiano.com
