On The Ground In Gaza: Stories From A Doctor

Welcome back to Beerocracy! This is the 2nd episode of a 3 part series exploring the Israel-Palestine conflict. I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Mohamed Ziara, a plastic surgery doctor from Gaza who worked at Al-Shifa hospital before being forced to move south for his safety. Dr. Mohamed, who has amassed a following on Instagram showing his life inside a war zone, shared his experience of being in Al-Shifa when Israel invaded the hospital and the harrowing journey to Khan Younis. This podcast episode was recorded in the beginning of February, just a few weeks after his brother was killed. Dr. Mohamed managed to leave Gaza in the end of February and has been in Egypt since.
