‘ON THE GROUND’ SHOW FOR SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 – The F-Word: Garland Nixon on Free Speech and Thought Crime… DC Police Kill Second Man Sleeping in Car… Plus Headlines With Gerald Horne on Lebanon and More…

As journalists are targeted by federal law enforcement, news organizations are de-platformed, and human rights activists face arrest and trumped up charges, freedom of speech is under attack. For this month's episode of the F-Word on fascism, we speak to political commentator Garland Nixon. And for the second time in three years, DC police shoot and kill a man who had been sleeping or unconscious in his car. Plus headlines with Gerald Horne on Lebanon-Israel and much more. Voices: Garland Nixon, Gerald Horne, Scott Ritter, Maya Berry, Alicia Robinson-mother of Justin Robinson, Attorney Andrew Clark, Attorney Brandon Burrell. The show is made possible only by our volunteer energy, our resolve to keep the people’s voices on the air, and by support from our listeners. In this new era of fake corporate news, we have to be and support our own media! Please click here or click on the Support-Donate tab on this website to subscribe for as little as $3 a month. We are so grateful for this small but growing amount of monthly crowdsource funding on Patreon. PATREON NOW HAS A ONE-TIME, ANNUAL DONATION FUNCTION! You can also give a one-time or recurring donation on PayPal. Thank you!
