Will broke out onto the scene as the founding editor of Deadspin in 2005. He grew the site to become the nation's most read independent sports blog , and then moved on to New York Magazine. Will currently is a Senior Writer at Sports On Earth (a joint venture between USA Today and MLB Advanced Media, which features the best sportswriting on earth) and hosts a daily podcast for the site, The Will Leitch Experience. Despite not being full-time anymore, Will writes for New York Magazine, and Deadspin. Will has also contributed to The New York Times, Esquire, The Atlantic, GQ, Bloomberg Businessweek, Fast Company, Parade, Glamour and The Nation profiling sports superstars such as Jeremy Lin, Derrick Rose, and Michael Vick. He joins us this week on The Creators Call to discuss his career, the art of the profile, and the nuances of interviewing and telling a story.
