On the necessity of religion & spirituality

“Anyone who doesn’t take their spirituality seriously, doesn’t take their life seriously.” - jcDUBSSLife is hard.As f**k.And if we stay trapped in our separate self paradigms, disconnected from the larger field that interconnects us all, we’ll continue to experience the suffering that comes with that separation.Life has a lot of hard questions.Who am I?Why am I here?What’s the meaning of life?Why is there something rather than nothing?I think religion & spirituality answer alot of these questions fairly well.Though I don’t believe everyone needs a religion, I do believe that everyone needs a spiritual practice that they commit to.And I don’t mean just meditating or something, I mean service.Giving of yourself to others.Sharing your unique gift with others.Feeling apart of something greater than you.That is what a spiritual practice can bring us.Do it today.
