On The Record #191 ft. Protection

Protection is the new project from Iain Cook (Chvrches) and fellow Glasgow-based artist, Scott Paterson. An enduring passion for electronic music informs the foundations of the new duo, who started dropbox-ing sketches over the internet in 2021. The first tracks ‘Still Love You' and 'Doll' are early tracks born of the collaboration, showcasing the breadth of a project where new rave electronica collides with breaks, analog machines and more than a pinch of psychedelia. More new music is due to follow from Protection with a constant shift in direction and sound. Protection are this week's guests #OnTheRecord
