On The Road: Drinks & Snacks In Ashe County - Episode 18
from Seen Through A Glass · host Lew Bryson
We took the portable podcast gear on the road to the western mountains of North Carolina. Cathy and I are in Ashe County for two weeks, and I went a bit nuts with interviews: two brewers, a cheesemaker, a mad sausage maker, and one of our favorite cider makers. It's a gorgeous place, and full of outdoor fun: hiking, tubing, kayaking, and biking. There's live music almost everywhere, and barbecue is almost everywhere too, but we found great pizza and a remarkable little Cuban restaurant. In two weeks...I'll probably have a little bit from our visit to Richmond this weekend, maybe the Stone brewery, but I'd like to get to Carlisle. Much depends on the weather. In any case, we'll See you then!
