On To Something Good

Oh, if we can get away, for a just a moment, I've been working by myself. The days we're spending in the sun, it's what we wanted and, When I can't sleep I'll be looking to the stars. Thought we were on to something good, well I guess that I'm wrong, Every word misunderstood, for so long, Saving light and to my surprise, to think that I was home by five, And we were on to something good, but all wrong. I've never seen the room with such clear eyes, As the bottles empty so does time, And she keeps calling out to me, It's just a memory, Of, a time and I can change, but for the moment, I'm still searching for myself. Oh, if we can get away, for just a moment, I could be somebody else. The days, I'm spending all alone, working by myself, because I can't be with anybody else. Well lets get away from here.
