On a Reflection 8-9 work in progress UPDATED

ON A REFLECTION When the music comes around, when you feel the notes abound As the tune suggests a song, will you Sing? In the days and in the night, with the knowledge of the light Songs are born, and songs delight there’s an echo in a phrase, of a tune from older days With a vision from the sky, or maybe heaven So you learn to trust that time, with an ear toward the rhyme As you soul reflects the incandescent feeling CHORUS La De Da seems so divine, Do-Re- Mi- to sing the line All the world just seemed so fine, in recalling of a time, a time we know well So as we sing the newest song, declarations newly born Does the judgement of the day, reflect the things we say? Sometimes actions of a dream, beckon us to things unseen Is the essence, truly present, as foreseen So sing the song out for today, sing it out for yesterday For the reason, for the season, anyway, REPEAT CHORUS La De Da seems so divine, Do-Re- Mi- to sing the line All the world just seemed so fine, in recalling of a time, on reflection, it might be heaven?
