Once More Around The Sun

"Once More Around the Sun" was first released on the "One River" album in September 2016. I recorded it that time around with two acoustic guitar tracks, and it had both a long instrumental opening and ending on it. In the morning when I rise And the sunshine fills my view, With the dawn I realize, As the sunrise turns to blue, I’ve gone once more around the sun with you. Now’s the noontime of life’s day And the sun is at its peak. Shadows beneath our soles Play their game of hide and seek As once more around the sun my whole world goes. Once more around the sun; Yes, your love makes my world spin! Once more around the sun, Then I laugh and yell, “Again!” Once more around the sun; I wish this ride would never end! I am having so much fun, My love and my best friend! In the evening when the sky Is a deeper shade of blue, I will smile and you’ll know why: It’s ‘cause there’s nothing left to do, But to go once more around the sun with you.
