OnCore Golf readies the Genius Ball with a brain

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.       A little computer inside a golf ball?.   It is the next evolution from OnCore Golf where CEO Bret Blakely  has done lots of innovating with golf tech before.  And now, he says, comes the Genius ball…“And it is a ball with magnetometers, gyroscopes, accelerometers, all inside on a small computer chip that will be providing all sorts of incredible data for putting.  It will be initially starting off as a putting ball.  It will tell you spin axis and distance and accuracy.”Lots of engineering challenges here.   The Genius Ball will arrive this year, probably for about 200 dollars a sleeve..  Meanwhile…check out the rest of the line up at OnCoreGolf.com.You can find us at Techstination.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
