One Another Pt. 7 - Bear One Another's Burdens

God calls us to shoulder each other’s burdens in this life. One way we do that is by creating a safe environment for everyone to lay their sin and struggle on the table. The Church family is meant to be a place where we can openly confess our faults and weaknesses, and know that our brothers and sisters will be patient with us, forgive us, and pray for us. Hebrews 10:24 ESV - 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works… James 5:16 NLT - 16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. 1 John 1:5-7 ESV - 5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. There is no freedom in isolation.
