One Battle After Another
from talkabout: A Film Podcast
Send us Fan Mail This week we talkabout everyone's new favourite film: Paul Thomas Anderson's 'One Battle After Another'. But did we enjoy it? Did we think it deserved a place on our shortlist for films of the year? No spoilers here, but we will tell you there's plenty of chat about the performances, cinematography, story, politics and general mastery on show throughout this film. We discuss the political mirroring to today's world, rave about those rolling hills and conduct a draft pick of Leonardo DiCaprio movies. Enjoy! Sometimes it's just one podcast after another, and on Monday morning when you expected a new episode, perhaps you thought we'd change the format. Well fear not, we just released it a day late...silly us.
