Often, when we create our own ideas of who Jesus is, we reduce Him to a very passive individual stripped of many of His divine attributes. John 2:13-25 gives us a prominent picture of the power that Jesus possesses and the zeal He has for true worship. A. W. Tozer once said, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." John writes this Gospel so we will believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. To believe, we must accept the truth about who He truly is. We must have a proper understanding of who Christ was. Who do you believe Jesus is? Do you believe He is truly the only begotten Son of God?
