One Flesh Ep. 51 - You Get What You Ask For | Solo

After a long hard day I often look forward to walking into my wonderful home and meeting my lovely wife to start the evening. However, this particular day, I quickly realized that my wife had given me exactly what I had asked for. Months and years of discussion, conversation, and hard work finally produced results. I was reaping exactly what I had sown. Of course, I was excited and grateful..... wrong.... I was upset, annoyed, and frustrated. This episode is coming at an excellent time, as I should be hours away from welcoming new life into the world, something we have been awaiting for years. This experience I had as I walked through the door is mirrored in so many aspects of life and so often people miss the valuable opportunities to enjoy the moment, make progress, and capitalize on past work due to one simple fact: the best moments in life are never found on the easy path. Take the hard road, and be happy about it. Sow, and Reap in Joy. Ask, and be grateful when you receive.
