Growing up in a family that was partial to music, theatre, and the arts, she herself was also a dancer.Theatre and live performance is what actually helped her to overcome shyness, something she still manages to this day.Speaking of the big stage, Annika has had quite the year. She was a semi-finalist in SiriusXM's Top of the Country competition, and also a semi-finalist in this year's Emerging Artist Showcase at Boots and Hearts Music Festival.Her single "Love and Hate" is at radio now, was just featured as Bell's iHeartFutureStar, and is currently Rogers One To Watch.
