One injured during Modise Church shooting

SAfm — Police are yet to make an arrest after one person was shot and wounded during clashes between factions at the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (also known as Modise Church) in Zuurbekom on Gauteng’s West rand. Members say two brothers are fighting over who should lead the church, which is one of the largest in Africa with 3.5 million members. Police have managed to confiscate several firearms while cars were trashed and now the road is littered with debris. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to our reporter Sashin Naidoo who is on the scene.
