One match day to go, and the little matter of automatic promotion was sealed this weekend as Levante were promoted thanks to a 97th minute goalzo from Carlos Alvarez. The relegation was also signed sealed and delivered following Real Zaragoza's win in their last ever game in La Romareda which condemned Eldense to the drop. Racing Santander couldn't seal a playoff spot but will get one more chance next weekend against play off chasers Granada as it is two teams from three with Almeria currently 6th.
