Our prediction that it will at least in part cover Yamato exploring the island has finally come to pass. The Five Elders have arrived and their double page spread (first since chapter 800) is glorious. The giants Dorry and Brogy reunite with Luffy! We debate the origins and powers of the Five Elders, as well as their possible connection to devil fruits being different from what we've seen thus far. We speculate a lot on what could disrupt this battle, including a surprise appearance from Imu and possibly a revelation that the origin of Vegapunk's broadcast is outside of Egghead, maybe even with Dragon. Will anyone attack the Holy Land with the elders gone? Yes, Zoro had a good reason for dragging out his fight with Lucci. OK, but what's the deal with awakened devil fruits and why do we keep having this conversation? Is there anything to the design inspiration behind the Gorosei's "yokai" forms? Fun extra theory about the "drumbeat of liberation" being key to waking up more "iron soldiers" and that being why the Gorosei are so adamant about erasing history. Also the importance of stories and passing them down in One Piece will always be, uh, important!
