ONE PILL CAN KILL

from THE STREETS DONT LOVE YOU BACK Hosted by Lucinda Boyd

RIP Tyler James Champagne! Tonight we will hear from Lisa, Tyler's mom, and Kayla, Tyler's sister. Tyler died of fentanyl poisoning. Tyler was 27 years old, he was given Fentanyl by someone who claimed she “loved” him and so he trusted her, she knew what it was and gave it to him anyways, unfortunately, he took it and did not survive. Lisa found her son in his room and it completely devastated her family. They swore to make his life matter and do whatever they can to save another family from having to suffer this pain. My son's life mattered! Tyler's mother stated, "I will tell you as I said at his funeral... On September 2, 1994, at 1:38 pm my beautiful 8 lb 2 oz 21-inch son came into this world I kissed him for the first and sang to him, You are my sunshine, my heart was complete. On May 10, 2022, at 3 pm I walked into his room and found my son, and my heart was completely shattered, my world was completely broken. I sang You are my sunshine to him as I watched them take my son out of my home in a body bag. On May 24, 2022, I kissed my 6’2 198 lb son as he lay in a casket, and again, I sang, You are my sunshine for the last time.
