In just one week in South Australia in 2023, four women were killed by a current or former partner. In response, the state established a Royal Commission, with 136 recommendations under the leadership of Commissioner Natasha Stott Despoja. Today, Katrine Hildyard MP, the state's Minister for Women and the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence, joins the podcast to share how the government is responding to the recommendations, as well as recent legislation passed on coercive control.
