In 2016 she won Best Actress for her performance in Fractured at the British Horror Film Festival, which she also produced, and Best Supporting Actress at the same festival in 2017 for her role in Caught.April co-wrote and starred in Making Tracks, which premiered at Raindance Film Festival in 2018 and in 2021 she produced and starred in The Kindred, which premiered at Frightfest in 2021.
