A little backstory to this one, I produced this song at the end of last summer I was down pretty bad for 2 weeks with covid and started having these terrible dreams that felt more real to me than this world, constantly waking up in cold sweats when I finally started to feel better I stayed up super late ready to create and escape the inevitable dreams I knew would come... I sampled one string off the acoustic guitar I have and turned it into a full melody and bassline for the song. The Title "Oneiro" is short for Oneirophobia which means the fear of dreams. Mixed & Mastered by:Get2Gether You can find him on Insta @iamget2gether Cover art by:amn2rt Lyrics: I know it's comin Ain't no sense in Runnin You cannot escape The dream I know it's comin Ain't no sense in runnin You cannot escape The dream Stayin' up late Don't wanna close my eyes Be right here when you see the sun rise In the studio Givin' all I got It's my home Like marriot I said that Cause I let you inside Gave you space Just to clear your mind Return that room key When you done I wanna show you What I've become I had a dream A demon got inside They wanna fight me For my light Oh that's the story Of my life Everybody got a soul But whats your price? Maybe if you let them all free That would take a little Pressure off me Still i hold my cards tight I'm ready I never fold Better call your army up Lets go I know it's comin Ain't no sense In runnin' You cannot escape The dream I know it's comin Ain't no sense In runnin' You cannot escape The dream Well I escaped it last night Let go of my past life Im tryna act right I'd give it up on sight I'm sorry if I did you wrong All my friends started moving on Yeah, Iv'e been down there On the floor But I ain't never felt like This before My heart wanna sing you A brand new chord I'm the only one here I better hit record Why do I dream So vivid Wake up and this life Feels' like its a gimmick Wanna take you To the world I was livin' Imagination No procrastinatin' Cause i have to make it Decode the matrix Play my aces I know what's comin homie You should face it Sometimes simple Is way more than basic I know it's comin' Ain't no sense in runnin
