South Africa's Health Minister Zweli Mkhize had looked to distancing himself from the growing scandal but has come under increasing pressure to step down. President Cyril Ramaphosa made the announcement on his special leave on Tuesday. Mkhize is implicated in the issuing of a contract to communications company Digital Vibes worth R150 million. The Minister is also preparing himself to appear before the ANC's integrity committee.
