Episode 23 of the Only in Miami Show featured Coach Parnes Cartwright and Point Guard Dirrick Hughes of the Miami Heat Wheels basketball team. The Miami Heat Wheels was established in 1989 to enable those with disabilities to participate in recreational wheelchair basketball. The Miami Heat Wheels were selected this past year as one of the top 25 teams nationally and participated in the NWBA's (National Wheelchair Basketball Association) national tournament in Kentucky this past April.
