Only One

The sermon explores the narrative of ten lepers healed by Jesus, emphasizing that only one returned to give thanks. It draws a parallel between physical leprosy and the spiritual condition of sin, illustrating humanity's separation from God and need for divine intervention. The preacher highlights the sovereignty of God in orchestrating this encounter and the sufficient atoning work of Christ on the cross. By analyzing the Levitical laws regarding cleansing, the text underscores that salvation is entirely a gift of grace received through faith. The central call is for believers to recognize their unworthiness and offer perpetual praise to God for the redemption accomplished by Jesus.
