A 43-year-old married man is struggling with conflict at home over his stepson, who is in matric and does no chores. He feels burdened by doing most of the housework and believes the boy should still contribute, even during exams. His wife disagrees, saying matric should be the priority. He feels disrespected and suspects the boy is acting out because he is not his biological father. Frustrated, he has warned his wife that if the situation doesn’t change, he may consider divorce.
