Onward
from Mark 2:22 Ministries Hosted by Mark 2:22 Ministries
In this message, Pastor Howard Walden shares a spirit-led teaching titled "Onward". Drawing from Romans 8:1–2 and Jeremiah 33:1–3, he reminds the church of the foundational truth that there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, because the law of the Spirit of life has set us free from the law of sin and death. Pastor Howard outlines three critical callings from the Lord: how Jesus is capturing the hearts of believers for "more," why we must stop interpersonal warring to enter the victory of surrender (anapauo), and how Christ is already our victory before we can see it. Closing with the promise of Jeremiah 33:3, this episode encourages believers facing impossible circumstances to call upon God and receive supernatural wisdom that exceeds natural human understanding. Key Discussion Points: No Condemnation: Exploring Romans 8:1–2 and 1 John 1:9 to understand the great divine exchange where Christ took our sin and gave us His sinlessness. Captured for More: Why Jesus is not only saving the lost but actively capturing the hearts of believers to walk in the supernatural. The Victory of Surrender: Ceasing internal and interpersonal warfare by taking a spiritual pause (anapauo) and stepping into Christ's rest. Things You Do Not Know: How God answers our cries (qara) by revealing divine solutions that go far beyond natural human intellect.
