Marching into March and the one-year anniversary of Best Friend Weekend Phase 3.6 (The Event That Shut Down the World). Aldo NICE and Los aka C.A.P. got together to do what we do best and bring the people that work. Rumble Williams led off with his thoughts on panhandlers and finessers (01:00) which got us talking about pamphlets, programs and PowerPoints (03:00). Next, Aldo let us know what Burned His Boudin this week including “I don’t own the rights” (12:00), posting before liking (15:00) and black girls (17:00). After a good talk about whether it’s better to buy off-brand, new or used, real (20:00), we got into the major stories of the week. First, we broke down a Nike execs son’s sneaker enterprise (25:00) before getting into the major issue of Texas lifting mask mandates and opening the state back up (36:00). Cancel culture was again talked about… this time the cancelling of Dr. Racist Suess (51:00). We ended the episode with Aldo having Nothin’ NICE to Say about failing the students (57:00) before we previewed the weekend’s biggest events... All-Star Weekend and Coming to America 2 (1:04:00).
