We find it is easier to trust God with our sins and salvation then to trust him with our money; Yet our money is temporary.We are called to love God and others, to share the Gospel and make disciples, to live a life of holiness and purity, to serve others, and to be good stewards of all that God has given us.And whether we view it as a replacement of the sacrificial system, an honouring gift to God as king, or a returning of what has been given to us, the practice of financial giving is an act of discipleship in Christian life.We can give without love.But we cannot love without giving.Share our food with hungry people. Provide homeless people with a place to stay. Give naked people clothes to wear. Provide for the needs of our own family.
