Open Skies - Part 4:Wake Us Up

Title of message: Wake us up.   (Acts 20:7) “On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”    (Ephesians 5:14) "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”   Are you asleep?    Slumber: 1. to sleep, especially lightly; doze; drowse. 2. to be in a state of inactivity, negligence, quiescence, or calm   3 Areas the church is asleep.   1.    Asleep to knowing   Are you asleep to knowing God?    2.    Asleep to sowing   We’ve fallen asleep to sowing in 3 ways:  Time, Talent, Treasure            A. Time   (Hebrews 10:25) “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”   B. Talent          C. Treasure   Are you asleep to sowing your treasure?  (Acts 2:42-45) “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.  Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”   Wake up and know Me. Wake up and sow into My Kingdom. Wake up and grow to your full potential.
