Opening Bell: The New Generation of Investor - Bella Conyngham

The new generation of investor they are strong, they expect purpose to lead profit not the other way around and they will use their wallet as a tool to drive change.   Julia Jones our Head of Insight talks with Bella Conyngham, she is a great example of the new investor.  Someone who is passionate about sustainability which drives her decisions about who she will hold her kiwisaver with, purchasing and her decisions on employment. Bella talks about the new generation of investor not necessarily being  age defined but more attitude defined where there is  a drive for purpose to lead profit.    More about Bella: Her role as Partnership Associate for Toitū Tahua  (Centre for Sustainable Finance)  gives her the opportunity to  be part of the change she wants to see.  Bella coordinates strategic partnerships, projects and work-streams for the Centre for Sustainable Finance. She is particularly passionate about systems change and the opportunity our financial system has to be the driver of creating a sustainable and equitable future.Outside of her work at the Centre, she is a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forums’ Auckland Global Shaper Hub. Bella holds a Bachelor in Commerce and is undertaking a postgraduate certificate in Change Leadership, as part of receiving the Impact Scholarship from The Mind Lab.
