Opening City-Owned Grocery Stores, Hearing for Rikers Detainees, and the Bronx River Foodway

NYC Mayor Mamdani is following through with opening city-run grocery stores that will have essentials that will be cheaper than traditional grocery stores in the city. A hearing was held to discuss the voting difficulties for detainees on Rikers Island. WFUV’s Jordan tells us more.
