“Operating” your botanical method aquarium to simulate seasons…an idea whose time has come?

Aquatic habitats in Nature go through profound seasonal changes. The fishes which reside within them have adapted to these changes- altering their spawning and feeding habits to take advantage of the resources available to them at different times of the year.
