U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific maintains significant capability forward deployed throughout the Asia-Pacific region ready to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. Forward deployed forces are fully capable to rapidly deploy to such disasters like Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda.
