Because we are adults who are adult enough to face uncomfortable truth’s, namely “that it can absolutely happen here and is happening here. You remember how ICE has instituted “free speech zones” outside of their detention center at Delaney Hall in New Jersey? There is no basis in law for them to actually do this. But still, they’re doing it, just like Israel is, in contravention of all international law, creating pilot zones in the south of Lebanon. Facists love Zones. Every single type of zone except autonomous zones.
